The Encompass Pledge
Despite the fact that we are a for-profit company, 100% of our profits are donated to provide improved nutrition to orphans & vulnerable children around the world.Read More
10 Months! That’s the time it took for us to go from an idea to actually launching our online store! Countless hours of meeting, planning, designing, writing, developing, communicating… The list goes on, but you get the point. In a way, it’s almost like giving birth to a company, but with it being Valentine’s Day, the last thing I want to do is take any glory away from all of you mothers out there by using bad analogies. I digress.
We are wrapping up our first week of being “open for business”, and the orders have been rolling in. You never really can predict how things will go when launching a new company and products, but we are pleased with the responses we are getting! Many are commenting on the sleek and modern design of our bottles and labels while others just love our mission in doing everything we can to care for orphans. Our first orders were all made by our board. We feel that the best way to show that we believe in our product and our mission of giving hope is to not only purchase and use the product but to do so at full retail price. Our Vice President, Aaron Waggoner, received his order yesterday and posted this photo on Facebook this morning! You can expect the exact same customer experience as he did with every order you place!
As we mentioned on Monday, our president, Dr. Terrance Waggoner, was in Honduras with Lifesong for Orphans. He’s made many trips to Ethiopia with Lifesong, but this was his first to Honduras. It seems only fitting that he was living out our mission during our launch. To celebrate our first week of the release of our products, Doc wanted to sponsor two children that he met during his time there. Encompass Nutrients is proud to sponsor Kevin and Greolyn (Really cool name by the way!) monthly as they make their way through the Plan Escalon school. This is so much more than your typical education in that each child also receives job skill training and opportunities to start their own businesses within their community. Now that’s making a difference!
We would love to sponsor more children like Kevin and Greolyn both in Honduras and many other countries, but we can’t do that without your help! We are not too proud to ask for your help in spreading the word about Encompass Nutrients. Please share, tweat, post, and comment on our behalf, sharing our story with those you know, and together we can Build Health and Give Hope!
